Goa, India

No. 202

Yeah!!!! fm pertama Qies dari India., tapi sebenarnye dah ada tapi kat tangan mak long laa balik nanti baru collect ngan dia buat masa nie dia tolong jagakan tuk Qies hehe..so kira yang Goa ni yang betul2 dah ada dalam tangan dan koleksi. Thanks Sita juga member difacebook.

Rujukan kitab Tuk Wi mengenai Goa :

Goa coastline
"Goa is India's smallest state by area and the fourth smallest by population. Located on the west coast of India in the region known as the Konkan, it is bounded by the state of Maharashtra to the north, and by Karnataka to the east and south, while the Arabian Sea forms its western coast. Goa is India's richest state with a GDP per capita two and a half times that of the country as a whole.[3] It was ranked the best placed state by the Eleventh Finance Commission for its infrastructure and ranked on top for the best quality of life in India by the National Commission on Population based on the 12 Indicators.

Panaji is the state's capital, while Vasco da Gama is the largest city. The historic city of Margao still exhibits the cultural influence of the Portuguese, who first landed in the early 16th century as merchants, and conquered it soon thereafter. The Portuguese overseas territory existed for about 450 years, until it was annexed by India in 1961.

Renowned for its beaches, places of worship and world heritage architecture, Goa is visited by large numbers of international and domestic tourists each year. It also has rich flora and fauna, owing to its location on the Western Ghats range, which is classified as a biodiversity hotspot. "

Stadium Gate, Olympia

No. 201

Another Greece fm came from Maria...ahaks..speaking londong lak...Qies dapat 4 ketul termasuk Stadium gate nie 3 lagi bentuk selipar, tengah gigih mengumpul bentuk selipar lak..aduh bila mau bertaubat tak tau lah...

Meh check ngan Prof Wi pasal Stadium Gate nie :-

The vaulted tunnel leading into the stadium
Location Olympia, Greece
Surface Grass, Stones

"The stadium at the archaeological site of Olympia, Greece is located to the east of the sanctuary of Zeus. It was the location of many of the sporting events at the Ancient Olympic Games.

The stadium was a holy place for the ancient Greeks, as this is where sporting activities dedicated to Zeus were held. The stadium was originally located within the temenos, with spectators able to view races from the slopes of Mt. Kronos. It was gradually relocated east until it reached its present location in the early 5th century BCE. The stadium is connected with the sanctuary by a vaulted stone passageway.

The track is 212.54m long and 28.5m wide and surrounded by grassy banks on all sides. All the seats were made of mud and on the southern slope there was a stone platform, the exedra, on which the Hellanodikes, the judges, would sit. Opposite this, on the north slope, was an altar to Demeter Chamyne. The stadium could hold 20,000 spectators"

Transilvania

No. 199

Mari kita baca apa kitab Tuk Wi citer pasal Transilvania ni :

Transylvania is a historical region in the central part of Romania. Bounded on the east and south by the Carpathian mountain range, historical Transylvania extended in the west to the Apuseni Mountains; however, the term frequently encompasses not only Transylvania proper, but also the historical regions of CriÅŸana, MaramureÅŸ, and (Romanian) Banat.

Bran Castle

In its early history, the territory of Transylvania belonged to a variety of empires and states, including Dacia, the Roman Empire, the Hun Empire and the Gepid Kingdom.[18] There were also periods when autonomous political entities arose under the control of the Byzantine and the Bulgarian Empire.

According to the theory of Daco-Romanian continuity, Hungary took possession of Transylvania in the 11th century, a territory that probably had a mixed but basically Romanian population.[20] According to Hungarian historiograpy, the population of Transylvania at the time of the Hungarian conquest in 895-96 consisted of Slavs and probably some Eurasian Avars. In this view, Romanians did not live in Translvania in that period and appeared there only as from the 12th century.

Jum kita tanya ngan Tuk Wi apa kebendanye Blackpool nie :

Blackpool Tower, A Blackpool Landmark

"Blackpool is a seaside town in Lancashire, England. Situated along the coast of the Irish Sea, it has a population of 142,900, making it the fourth-largest settlement in North West England behind Manchester, Liverpool and Warrington. It lies 40 miles (64 km) north-west of the city of Manchester, and less than 30 miles north of Liverpool City centre. Blackpool is the fourth most densely populated local authority district of England & Wales outside Greater London.

A double-decker balloon tram on the promenade at Bispham

Blackpool rose to prominence as a major centre of tourism during the 19th century, particularly for the inhabitants of northern mill towns. Blackpool is believed to get its name from a historic drainage channel (possibly Spen Dyke) that ran over a peat bog, discharging discoloured water into the Irish Sea, which formed a black pool (on the other side of the sea, "Dublin" (Dubh Linn) is derived from the Irish for "black pool"). Another explanation is that the local dialect for stream was "pul" or "poole", hence "Black poole".

People originating from Blackpool are called Sandgrown'uns, (as are persons originating from Morecambe and Southport) or Seasiders" (Although this is more commonly associated with Blackpool FC) Blackpudlians is also (though rarely) used."

Thanks to Andrea Wong, member dari facebook, fm Taiwan ke-3 dalam koleksi Qies. FM yang berlatar belakangkan Sun Moon Lake iaitu tasik semula jadi yang terbesar di Taiwan.

Meh kita selak kitab Tuk Wi pasal Sun Moon Lake :-

'Sun Moon Lake is the largest natural lake in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction. Situated in Yuchih, Nantou, the area around the Sun Moon Lake is home to the Thao tribe, one of aboriginal tribes in Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake surrounds a tiny island called Lalu. The east side of the lake looks like a sun and the west side looks like a moon, hence the name.

Sun Moon Lake is located 748 metres (2,454 ft) above sea level. It is 27 metres (89 ft) deep and has a surface area of approximately 7.93 square kilometres (3.06 sq mi).'

Bethlehem

No. 184

Untuk sekian kalinye fm ni juga dari kawan di alam cyber, mmg berbaloi buat blog ngan facebook dapat ramai kawan dan menambahkan koleksi magnet.

Jom check ngan Tuk Wi pasal Bethlehem:-

'Bethlehem also known as "House of Meat" or "House of Bread" is a Palestinian city in the central West Bank, approximately 10 kilometers (6 mi) south of Jerusalem, with a population of about 30,000 people. It is the capital of the Bethlehem Governorate of the Palestinian National Authority and a hub of Palestinian culture and tourism. The Hebrew Bible identifies Beit Lehem as the city David was from and the location where he was crowned as the king of Israel. The New Testament Gospels of Matthew and Luke identify Bethlehem as the birthplace of Jesus of Nazareth. The town is inhabited by one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, though the size of the community has shrunk in recent years due to emigration.'
